Korea Expressway Corporation HQ In the relocation of the Korea Expressway Corporation's headquarters, the company's mission - to connect people and culture by opening up the road - became the project’s goal. The podium encloses Community Avenue, a covered thoroughfare of public spaces, symbolizing the unifying nature of expressways. The deck projecting above the front face of the headquarters creates an image of the building embracing customers.

The tower is composed of two structures representing two aspects; the vertical elements and dynamic angle seen on the elevation symbolize the future and the progressive attitude of the company. A green corridor derived from the city fabric passes through the building into the atrium space as an extension of nature. We aligned the atrium with its visual axis facing the nearby mountain in order to create a dialogue between nature and the building's occupants. Along with the atrium, many amenities such as quiet spaces and meeting areas, help the staff achieve maximum productivity and creativity.
