Among several alternatives, two design plans were in a final match; ‘inward arrangement scheme with courtyard’ and ‘final design open to nature’. Divided opinions of building owner, design team, and even meditation experts could be settled by the order to “enhance recreation function” given by the final decision maker. Throughout the process, numerous stories made were naturally melted into the final design, mountain edge of Yeongdeok.
