KT Gwanghwamun Building EAST Inspired by the mountains and the nature of Korea, the KT Gwanghwamun building is designed as a crystal which projects a transparent image within the high-density urban context, portraying a unique image in Seoul. With 10m high pilotis and landscape features, the design team focused on creating a pleasant atmosphere for pedestrians on ground level.

For the office tower, a highly efficient layout with a centralized vertical core on one side allows flexible usages of the floors by tenants. On the top floors, a roof top garden is introduced as a venue where employees and visitors can enjoy the panoramic view of Geyongbokgung Palace and Bukhansan Mountain along with urban landscapes. Overall, the new building expresses the image of KT as one of the most advanced telecommunications company with its unique and modern appearances.
