We tried to connect the green area of Wuseongisan(Mt.) to the target site for the center, which is located inside the Expo Science Park, and devised a pedestrian circulation with ready access from main pedestrian road. Inside the center, the administration building and the exhibition building are clearly divided and connected through an outdoor deck. There is an open area for Expo Science Park, and the visitors are naturally guided using an atrium. The exhibition building consists of several experience zones classified by type of exhibition, and is also separated into several levels by different programs. The shell-shaped elevation that embraces the mass emphasizes the image of protection.
