Suwon Supreme Prosecutor’s Office Republic Of Korea After 29 months since its groundbreaking in Nov. 2016, the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office Development Project completed the construction of a building with 2 under-ground and 10 above-ground floors at a site as large as 68,275m2 in gross area. The construction design was inspired by the “uprightness” of Korea’s prosecu-tion that is making a new leap forward towards the better future as well as by the city’s historic landmark Hwaseong Fortress.

After 29 months since its groundbreaking in Nov. 2016, the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office Development Project completed the construction of a building with 2 under-ground and 10 above-ground floors at a site as large as 68,275m2 in gross area. The construction design was inspired by the “uprightness” of Korea’s prosecu-tion that is making a new leap forward towards the better future as well as by the city’s historic landmark Hwaseong Fortress. Standing at a superb location with a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape, Su-won District Prosecutors’ Office, together with Suwon District Court, forms the Suwon-Gwanggyo Legal Town that will not only provide the people of southern Gyeo-nggido region with an improved level of legal services, but also promote the local economy and job creation.
The location of this new district prosecutors’ office is in-deed the best location for a prosecutors’ office in that it is within the Gwanggyo New Town, leaning against the Gwanggyo Mountain at its back and facing the water of Shindae Reservoir. The project was designed under the three concepts, which are i) Light of Gwanggyo, ii) Identity of the Prosecution, and iii) Environment-friendly Office inside the nature.
