Bank of Korea Gyeonggi Headquarters The Bank of Korea Gyeonggi Headquarters was relocated and newly constructed in Gwanggyo Convergence Town, Suwon, where public institutions in Gyeonggi Province are springing up. As the nation’s central bank that protects the economy, the Bank of Korea was meticulously designed as a symbol of solidity and trust in the form of a vital security facility.

The sturdy exterior, finished with domestically produced Gapyeong stone, serves as a symbol of the Bank of Korea’s prestige and pride. It reveals a small but strong presence among the neighboring skyscrapers, while the proportions and details of the stone are meticulously honed to create a dignified exterior imbued with a forward-looking spirit and a distinct identity of the Bank of Korea. Upon its new construction, the Bank of Korea Gyeonggi Headquarters, as a strong fortress such as Hwaseong that symbolizes Suwon, is poised to serve as a landmark that will revitalize the economy of Gyeonggi Province and foster communication with local residents.
