Seoul Metropolitan Government Training Center, Seocheon The Second government employees’ Training Institute is a welfare facility for government employees of Seoul. It is built on a site with a beautiful view of Biin bay on the western coast as a part of the land and scenery. Therefore, environmentally-friendly public facilities followed the four principle ideas: openness, adaption, trip, and scenery. While protecting nature and securing axial views, each building is capable of coping with changing programs, categorized by their functions such as amenities, accommodation, and training.

Amenities and accommodation buildings face each other in 'V' shape and the accommodation building is planned under two themes, Wood Village and Sea Village. The motif of the Wood Village in the hillside is the nearby pine tree forest and the Sea Village provides the sea firsthand. The buildings are connected to each other through a green corridor on the 1st floor and a blue corridor on the underground floor, taking visitors on a trip through nature. The 1st floor serves as the community hub, equipped with a gallery and resting area.
